Avalon Planning & Heritage are delighted to have been commissioned by the National Trust to write a Conservation Management Plan for Nostell Priory in West Yorkshire.

The epitome of elegance, Nostell Priory is one of the Trust’s finest treasure houses. Nostell is full of glorious interiors, designed by James Paine and Robert Adam, and furnished with objects created by world-class craftsmen, such as Thomas Chippendale. The CMP process creates the perfect opportunity to take a holistic look at the built fabric, interiors and associated collection. This will enable us to better understand significance, alongside practical management opportunities. We are really looking forward to working with the National Trust team to write a plan which will be a vital tool for the future management of this important place.
